“Stories of Steam – 8” continues the theme of illustrating a range of preserved steam locomotives working in a variety of locations in New South Wales.
Highlights of this this video include 5367 storming the grades around Junee in October 1997.
The 1996 Thirlmere “Festival of Steam” featuring various combinations of 1709, 2705, 3001, 3642 & 5910 working hard on the loop line.
Locomotives 5910, 3801 & 3642 working a spectacular triple-header over the Blue Mountains in October 1992.
SMR18 & 3801 on a heavy train slogging up the grades to Robertson via Unanderra in November 1996.
5910 hauling an unusual collection of carriages along the goods line from Sydney Yard through Darling Harbour to Balmain in December 1992.
