INTRODUCTION

We have produced Steam toSwanback along similar lines our earlier publication Steam to Eurelia. Both of these books give a brief pictorial coverage of their respective railway lines with an emphasis on present day steam locomotive activities.

Steam to Swanback looks at the short branch line from Box Flat (which is connected to the Queensland Railways main line from Ipswich to Brisbane at Bundamba) to the Swanback power station and the activities of the Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway.
