See C17-720’s first public appearance in June 2007.
Even though the boiler and the incomplete drivers cab were unpainted tests were carried out and 720 performed splendidly. After a small ceremony to celebrate the work so far, DL3 and a short train are coupled to 720 and several run-pasts are made. Then on the 30th March 2008 the splendid locomotive is revealed and we go trackside on onboard for the first passenger run along the ARHS line. C17-720 is ALIVE!
As with all Rail Heritage DVDs there is no narration only natural train sounds.
