When choosing the title for this book we decided upon Morris 25 quite simplay as a tribute to the two Morris 25/6 survivors. Narrow gauge MIC126 and MIC127 have now both been retored. MIC127 is on display at Steamtown and MIC126 is available for special occasion and public hire on the Pichi Richi Railway.
What we originally though was going to be quite an easy and straight forward publication turned into something of a nightmare because of the amount of conflicting information that was available, especially from official sources.
Where records were kept there were often important gaps and where detailed information was given it was quite often contradictory. For these reason it has taken much longer to produce this book than we anticipated. However, by spending extra time we hope the accuracy of information has been improved. We have tried to verify each fact, and in some cases where we could not, graphs and time lines have been used to try and confirm information.
