Description
Recorded over four years from 2000 to 2004, “Diesel Diary – 25” continues the theme of illustrating a wide range of diesel locomotives working in a variety of locations in NSW.
Highlights of this video include:
- NRR 421s blasting through the scenic Gloucester region.
- EL63 running solo with a maximum load pushing a failed XPT up Cowan bank.
- A very busy day in the southern highlands featuring a diverse range of locomotives.
- Silverton Cs, 442s, 45s and other locos on heavy container trains.
- GM37, still wearing the green and gold AN livery, working with Ls, Ts, 422s & 830s on huge ATN grain trains.
- SSR GMs storming up Cowan bank.
- Rare scenes of triple 73s working hard with a very heavy tour train from Canberra to Goulburn.
