Cab Rides Pt1 covered cab rides in 442, 48 and 80 Class locomotives whilst Cab Rides Pt2 did the same for G, T and 81 Class. This presentation covers cab rides in four somewhat unique locations.

The first is travel over the Bethungra Spiral area on the Main South Line which is located between Cootamundra and Goulburn, the second is both ‘up’ and ‘down’ on the Cowan Bank on the Short North Line whilst travelling between Sydney and Broadmeadow, the third is in the NSW outback on the Class 5 tracks between Narrabri and Walgett whilst the fourth is the climb of a heavily if not overloaded grain train over the Liverpool Ranges between Werris Creek and Murrurundi.

We view all this action from the cabs of G, T and 81 Class locomotives of Freight Australia, FreightCorp and/or Pacific National.
