Witness the transition from the use of ageing C class locos to brand new PHC class units on SRS train no.4190 in 2016; quad 44s on a special tour to Kandos in January 2006; an astonishing variety of locomotives storming through the Southern Highlands on a very busy day in November 2005 and out west in October 2011; CLPs, Ls, GMs and even 4501 on heavy ARG trains on the main west and Illawarra ; and the impressive sight of seven CEYs on a huge 100 coal wagon train with distributed motive power from Airly and through Sydney to Newcastle.
