Description
For anyone who likes trains, a ride in the cab of a locomotive is a real thrill. Hopefully this presentation will provide such an experience.
Firstly we ride on BHP’s Austrac leased 442s on an empty coal train from Unanderra Exchange Sidings.
Secondly we will ride twin State Rail Authority 442s as they collect loaded fuel wagons from the now closed Ampol Fuel Facility at Pagewood.
Finally we will experience banking heavily loaded freight trains over the Liverpool Ranges, viewed from the cab of both the banking and train locomotives. The former are triple FreightCorp 80 Class whilst the latter are quad Pacific National 48 Class.
We hear the crew comments and amplification of these is explained together with maps in a Data Sequencing & Map document provided with the DVD.
